Want to hear some great news? You’re not broken.
Your brain and body may just be stuck in patterns that made sense at one point in your life. Sometimes what we’re feeling isn’t only in our thoughts; it can live in the nervous system, our stress load, sleep habits, or the stories our bodies have been carrying for years.
Together we can begin to untangle some of the patterns that have been shaping how you think, feel, and move through the world.
My background is a little different from many therapists. I’ve studied psychology and nursing in addition to psychotherapy and am currently completing training as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-S). This perspective allows me to look at mental health from several angles. I integrate a psychodynamic approach with therapies such as CBT and parts-based work while also paying attention to the nervous system and the body’s role in emotional health.
Through my years as a nurse, I found myself drawn to the people who often go unseen; those who have been marginalized, misunderstood, or who have struggled to access support. I care deeply about creating a space where your story can actually be heard and where you are met as a whole person, not a problem to fix. My goal is to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing and to work together toward direction, guidance, and meaningful solutions.
Some people come wanting a place to talk things through; others want practical tools that help them feel more steady and grounded in everyday life. Most people want a little of both. Medication can also be discussed when appropriate; but it’s never the starting point and never the whole story.
If you’re looking for a warm, thoughtful, and judgment-free space to sort through life; take the first step and let’s connect for your free 15-minute consultation.

Do you feel disconnected from your purpose? Maybe you’ve heard conflicting messages from family, community, religion, or society, and you’re wondering who you really are. Do you also wonder what is preventing you from embracing your gifts and following your intuition? As Audre Lorde gently reminds us, “our feelings are our most genuine paths to knowledge.”
Your feelings matter, your experiences matter, and your healing matters. You don’t have to navigate this world alone. It would be an honor to walk with you.
My name is Christa, and I am a therapist at Grounded Wellbeing. I am a Black queer therapist with a social work background committed to helping you tap into your own liberation and authenticity. My approach to therapy is informed by an understanding that healing is political. I create space for you to explore your identities, experiences, and agency by utilizing frameworks that challenge hegemonic societal narratives.
In this non-judgmental space, laughter is a balm. I am focused on fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship that acknowledges systemic oppression while empowering folks to cultivate resilience, self-determination, and joy.
Outside of the office, you can catch me with my nose in a book, watching anime, or taking photographs of the world around me. You can also bet that a pair of noise-cancelling headphones and a journal are close by.
In a world that continually tells us to reject ourselves, I look forward to the opportunity to help you reclaim a sense of self, lean into your uniqueness, and know that your existence is enough.

Do you struggle with feeling like you belong? Are you searching for ways to create support and care in your life? My name is Jen (she/her), and I am passionate about my LGBTQ+ community. The most meaningful parts of my life revolve around relationships and healing within them.
My therapeutic approach is affirmative and anti-oppressive, and I aspire to provide person-centered, compassionate, non-judgmental, strength-based, mindfulness-based, and trauma-informed practice. I specialize in working with adults and older teens who are experiencing challenges around communication and relational issues, estrangement, relational or family trauma, religious trauma, identity development, life transitions, aging, grief and loss, shame and guilt, anxiety, stress, and depression.
I seek to create mutual trust using an attachment lens, and I reach for mindfulness tools to help us feel safer in our bodies and the moment. I am inspired by trauma-focused care, Internal Family Systems and parts work, somatic interventions, cognitive behavioral models like MBCT, DBT, RODBT, and ACT, and exposure and reprocessing modalities.
I work with clients who want to better understand their experiences and needs, so that they can more fully inhabit their lives and achieve their personal goals. Together, we will attend deeply to what arises, and tap into your innate wisdom, strength, and care for yourself- it really is in there!

Are you feeling overwhelmed by recent events? Maybe even powerless? You’re not alone. In a society that is based in heterosexual, cisgender, and neurotypical privilege, navigating life can be challenging AF for queer, trans, gender-expansive, & neurodivergent folks. As a queer-identifying therapist specializing in relational and complex trauma, I partner with my clients to provide support & empowerment in an anti-oppressive, gender-affirming, trauma-sensitive, & harm reducing manner.
You’ll find me to be warm & non-judgmental, centering the therapeutic relationship in my work with clients. The relationship we co-create promotes so much healing in and of itself. I love to work with creative teens & adults healing from difficult childhood experiences & relational trauma.
My approaches are both attachment-based and body-based, as these two qualities are crucial to recovery from complex and relational trauma. I am also trained in Brainspotting - a mind-body healing modality - to facilitate healing from adverse life experiences. I am passionate about helping clients heal the root cause of present-day struggles. Trauma is at the root of SO much — understanding its impact on the brain & body, finding ways to regulate, and digging up the root (gently & once safety is established) can be incredibly empowering.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me creating music and/or art, cuddling with my cat, collecting tarot decks, connecting with nature, or reading 2-3 books at a time. Getting to work as a queer therapist within the queer community is a privilege and honor that never ceases to amaze me.
Starting the process of working with a new therapist can feel daunting. Know that in our work together, you are in complete control of the pace. We are in this together. Don’t hesitate to schedule your free 15-minute consult with me if you feel like we would be a good fit for sessions together. I’d be honored to partner with you.

Hi - thank you for considering working with me!
Let’s be honest – it’s hard out here. Existing in a society marked by so much injustice and pain is heavy, and many of us struggle with anxiety and feeling disconnected from our sense of self and self-worth. Unfortunately, most of us experience trauma, which can leave us feeling isolated, misunderstood, or ashamed. If any of this resonates with you, you are not alone and you deserve caring, compassionate support on your healing journey. I know the therapy process can feel overwhelming, and want to assure you that we will go at the pace that feels right to you.
I am passionate about working with people who have experienced complex and relational trauma, queer and gender-expansive people, and those who struggle with anxiety, boundaries, and people-pleasing. I am particularly experienced in working with people around issues of relationship abuse. Whether you have experienced harm by a partner, a family member, a friend, or another close person – and whether that harm happened long ago or more recently – I am here to listen, witness your story, and work with you to rebuild your sense of self-worth, self-trust, and safety. I bring an understanding of the dynamics of abuse and expertise in resources for people ending and healing after harmful relationships.
As for what our sessions will look like: I will welcome you and your full self into the therapy room, creating a validating, gender-affirming, and trauma-informed “judgment-free zone” for us to work in. I understand that, for many neurodivergent people, our ways of thinking and feeling don’t always align with society’s expectations. That’s why I approach therapy through a lens of flexibility, creativity, and inclusivity. That includes your interests, too, meaning that our sessions can incorporate music, art, games, role-play, or whatever works best for you!
My approach is also based on the principles of abolition, recognizing that the systems that shape our society also shape our mental health and that being in community is an essential part of healing. I love working with people on ways that they can bring their healing journey into the community outside the therapy room.
If you are curious about what working with me may look like, I’d love to chat!

Looking for someone to truly see you and understand? Someone to really dig in with curiosity to understand who you are without pretending? Even if maybe you’re just starting to understand yourself?
Neuro, gender, queer affirming and trauma-informed, I am here to meet you wherever it is that you are. Life is often about doing what you can with what you have but sometimes you’re left questioning: What do I have? Who am I in this world? What does it all mean? Why does being human feel like this? What am I meant for?
Be it neurodivergence, identity work, compassion fatigue, anxiety, self-doubt, grief, or trauma (and/or any combination), I am here to bear witness and hold whatever stories you choose to share and tell and process. How you choose to evolve, learn, grow, and show up is entirely up to you. I am also a firm believer that joy and rest are the way and critical to every human process: the healing process, acceptance process, grieving process, growing process, self-exploration process, and every other process alike.
Through meaning-making, connection, exploration, autonomy, non-binary thought processing (read: the opposite of black and white thinking), psycho-education, and a little bit of humor I seek to create a safe therapeutic space that is creative and fruitful and one that hinges on the unique identity of each of my clients. Come exactly as you are and I will join just the same.
When I am not in the role of therapist I am running a tiny but mighty cat rescue. The work I do in rescue, as an advocate, strongly informs how I show up as a therapist: steadfast, committed, intentional, curious, resourceful, tender, unwavering, direct, and forever finding humor in the hardships.
Through an existential lens I reach for tools from ACT, CBT, IFS, mindfulness, and humanistic approaches often using art and nature as well as the personal interests of my clients.
Life is hard, let’s create some space to ground, grow, connect, giggle and most importantly not go at it alone.

Hi there! Are you and your partner(s) feeling stuck in a never-ending loop of miscommunication? Is your family overwhelmed by conflict or struggling to adjust to life’s transitions? Relationships are hard. And when life throws its curveballs (or, let’s be real, bowling balls), they can feel even harder. But guess what? You don’t have to navigate it all alone. We’re in this together. Whether you’re navigating relational conflict, struggling to create and maintain boundaries while navigating poly/ non-monogamy, reestablishing emotional intimacy, managing co-parenting challenges, or confronting the effects of oppressive systems that impact your relationships, I’m here to hold space for you.
I’m Kianna, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a flair for helping any and all relationships untangle the messy knots of life. My approach? Think of me as your co-pilot, offering warm guidance, genuine curiosity, and the occasional (well-timed) laugh to remind us both that we are human. Therapy doesn’t have to be all doom and gloom. It can also be a space for empowerment, self-discovery, and maybe even some fun.
What I Bring to the Table:
- Completed Level 1 & 2 Gottman Method Training. So yes, I can help you and your partner turn late-night “We need to talk” into meaningful connection.
- Expertise with supporting family systems in areas of navigating conflict, blended dynamics, and sibling relationships.
- A deep commitment to creating affirming spaces for BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ folks, Poly/ Non- Monogamous relationships, and families navigating life’s challenges and transitions.
- A foundation in Feminist and Experiential Therapy, layered with evidence-based techniques to support your growth and healing as a team because growth is a team effort, and I’m always learning right alongside you.
But let’s be real… I’m not just a therapist. I’m also a human. A human who binges TV shows and movies like it’s an Olympic sport, obsesses over dark romance novels, and believes food adventures are their own form of therapy. This humanness is at the core of my work. I bring my authentic self to the therapy room so that you feel safe to do the same.
So, if you’re ready to laugh a little, cry a little, and grow a whole lot, let’s chat!
Book your consult today, and let’s start this journey together because you deserve to feel seen, empowered, and well resourced.

Hey there! I’m Ryan and I’m the Clinical Director and Founder of Grounded Wellbeing. I started this practice to provide holistic wellness services to all people of all identities by incorporating healing for mind, body and spirit.
I enjoy working with people from all walks of life though I specialize in working with queer, trans, and gender-expansive individuals aged 11 and up. I’m a Clinical Social Worker, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Meditation Teacher and Sound/ Vibrational Therapist. I believe that you are the expert of your experience and will work with you as we navigate life’s challenges together. I love working with folks recovering from trauma, exploring identity, navigating transitions (both gender and life), and experiencing anxiety/depression. Many of the clients who choose to work with me consider themselves high achievers, perfectionists, people pleasers and may struggle to feel securely attached within interpersonal relationships.
As a psychodynamic therapist, I love diving into the past, exploring childhood wounds, and doing inner-child work. Through my own healing journey, I’ve learned the importance of being your own “inner parent” and loving all parts of you, even the ones that are harder to love. I love incorporating the “woo” when clients are interested in that. This may look like talking about your favorite crystals, astrology, tarot/oracle cards, and/or other metaphysical and spiritual topics.
If you’re interested in working with me or think we could be a good therapeutic fit, please feel free to reach out to me and I’d love to explore working with you!

Do you feel like you are on auto-pilot, but still can’t get anything done? Are you constantly disconnected from your body, or feel like you can’t be yourself around your friends and family?
My name is Jacklyn, and I am a therapist and the Assistant Clinical Director at Grounded Wellbeing. I am a white queer transfeminine professional counselor licensed in the state of Georgia with experience working with adolescents and adults. I am honored you are considering working with me. I am passionate about radicalizing mental health.
My job is to hear you and witness your story. Know that you are not alone. Together we can support you in reconnecting to your body and feeling more safe in the world. We will embark on this journey together to get you from surviving to thriving.
I enjoy working with individuals who are queer, trans, neurodiverse, polyamorous, and/or chronically ill who are curious about addressing the ways that trauma may be showing up in their lives and relationships. Trauma is an experience that most of us have and I center it in all the work I do. I am motivated to serve my community by merging my clinical expertise and lived experience. This looks like a focus on work with trans people. I believe strongly that trans clients deserve trans clinicians.
In our first few sessions, I am most concerned about the relationship and container we are building together. My clients find this process to be life-giving and restorative. I often use somatic therapies in my practice. We work together over many sessions to deepen your awareness of your mind-body connection while increasing your ability to remain present. This is an individualized journey we embark on together!
I’m also interested in somatic sex education, and am currently working on my certification!

Do you feel like there is something missing from your life? Do you have experiences from your past that seem to be holding you back? Are you looking for a steady, grounded space to land and grow? Too often, we are expected to push past traumas and grow without processing our lived experiences. Sometimes, we need a neutral party to help us navigate the waters of life.

Community is what makes us stronger, and I try to work within my practice to emphasize the importance of forming and maintaining strong relationships for a healthy life.
I work to create a space for all, including neurodivergent, queer and transgender individuals. My ideal client is a person that needs assistance processing trauma, but may not know where to start.
